Position Overview & Role Purpose:
Are you a skilled and certified maintenance professional with expertise in plumbing and mechanical systems? Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lakes Towers Hotel & Residences (an Accor property) is seeking a dedicated Plumber to join its engineering and facilities maintenance team in Dubai, UAE.
In this vital technical role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing all plumbing, drainage, water supply, and sanitary systems across the hotel and residential complex, ensuring seamless operations and absolute guest comfort.

Key Responsibilities & Maintenance Duties:
1. Plumbing & Maintenance Operations:
– Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all hotel plumbing fixtures, water supply pipes, drainage networks, pumps, valves, and sanitary systems.
– Respond promptly to guest room and public area maintenance calls, diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues (e.g., leaks, clogs, fixture replacements) efficiently.
– Inspect and maintain swimming pool filtration systems, Jacuzzis, water heaters, and steam rooms in accordance with safety standards.
2. Preventive Maintenance & Safety Compliance:
– Execute scheduled preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and preserve property assets.
– Ensure strict compliance with local UAE building codes, health and safety regulations, and fire safety protocols.
– Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance work orders, spare parts usage, and equipment inspections.
3. Cross-Functional Support & Workshop Upkeep:
– Collaborate smoothly with the engineering, housekeeping, and front office teams to resolve room maintenance issues prior to guest check-in.
– Keep the engineering workshop and tool storage areas clean, organized, and safely stocked.
– Adhere to hotel energy-conservation initiatives and sustainability guidelines.
Qualifications, Required Experience & Core Competencies:
– Academic Credentials:
* High School Diploma with a vocational trade certificate or diploma in Plumbing or Mechanical Maintenance.
– Professional Experience:
* Minimum 2 to 4 years of hands-on plumbing experience, preferably within a 4- or 5-star hotel, resort, or large-scale residential facility.
– Skills & Personal Attributes:
* Comprehensive working knowledge of plumbing schematics, pipe fitting, soldering, drainage systems, and pump repairs.
* Strong problem-solving abilities, physical stamina, and a detail-oriented work ethic.
* Professional fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
