NASS Group & Corporation is a Bahrain contracting group. Nass Electrical, part of the wider group, is a Grade 1 electrical contractor recognised by Bahrain’s Electricity Distribution Directorate. Public company material covers HV/LV cable works, building electrical, MEP and utility contracts for EDD and industrial clients. This estimator sits in Estimation & Technical Services and prices electrical packages so tenders are viable, compliant and competitive. You work to EWA and EDD rules, local authority requirements and industry standards. The General Manager – Estimation & Technical Services directs extra assignments.

**About this vacancy**

You prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical works on commercial, industrial, infrastructure, high-rise, mixed-use and multi-discipline projects. You give technical and commercial input through the tender. The aim is a submission that can be built, priced and accepted by the client without authority or specification gaps.

**Day-to-day work**

Tender weeks start with drawings, specs, BOQ and EWA/EDD conditions. You take off electrical quantities, build rates, check exclusions and flag risk. You price containment, cabling, switchgear, lighting, earthing, containment, containment and related builder’s work as the package requires. You compare vendor quotes, labour outputs and plant. You write clarifications when the enquiry is incomplete. You sit with civil, MEP and procurement so interfaces are not missed. You help the bid team present a compliant commercial offer. After submission you may support negotiations and handover notes to the delivery team. Site visits and authority queries are part of GCC estimating. This is not a site supervisor post and not a junior taker-off post.

**Key responsibilities**

Prepare accurate, competitive, technically compliant electrical estimates.

Cover commercial, industrial, infrastructure, high-rise, mixed-use and multi-discipline projects.

Support the full tender with technical and commercial input.

Keep submissions aligned with client requirements, EWA, EDD, local authority rules and industry standards.

Produce quantity take-offs, rate build-ups and cost estimates.

Review electrical systems, installation methods and construction methodology in the price.

Support business-development objectives with viable tenders.

Complete other duties given by the General Manager – Estimation & Technical Services.

**Who this role is for**

A senior electrical estimator who has priced large GCC building and infrastructure packages and knows Bahrain utility rules. Not a first-year QS. Not a design-only electrical engineer with no tender book.

**Requirements**

Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum 15 years in electrical estimating and construction.

Experience across infrastructure, high-rise, commercial, industrial, mixed-use and multi-discipline projects.

Minimum 10 years’ GCC experience preferred.

Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, installations and construction methods.

Strong working knowledge of EWA and EDD regulations.

Expert electrical take-off, rate build-up and cost estimating.

Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, specifications and authority  requirements.
