Position Overview & Role Purpose:
Are you an energetic and visionary human resources professional with a passion for talent development and training excellence? Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island (an Accor luxury property) is seeking an experienced Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to join its HR leadership team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs, onboarding initiatives, leadership coaching, and service excellence standards to foster a high-performance culture across the resort.

Key Responsibilities & L&D Management Duties:
1. Training Strategy & Program Delivery:
– Assess organizational training needs and design annual L&D strategies aligned with Accor brand standards and resort business goals.
– Facilitate engaging training workshops covering guest service excellence, leadership development, operational skills, and compliance.
– Partner with department heads to identify skill gaps and deliver targeted coaching solutions.
2. Onboarding & Talent Development:
– Oversee the comprehensive onboarding and orientation program for all new joiners, ensuring seamless cultural and operational integration.
– Implement leadership pipeline programs and mentor supervisors to support internal career progression and talent retention.
– Coordinate language, diversity, and specialized hospitality training initiatives.
3. Quality Assurance & Evaluation:
– Evaluate training effectiveness through key performance metrics, feedback surveys, guest satisfaction scores, and mystery shopper reports.
– Manage the L&D departmental budget, training records, and compliance tracking platforms.
– Ensure all training initiatives adhere to local UAE labor regulations and corporate sustainability guidelines.
Qualifications, Required Experience & Core Competencies:
– Academic Credentials:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
– Professional Experience:
* Minimum 4 to 6 years of progressive human resources or L&D experience, with at least 2 to 3 years holding a dedicated Training or L&D Manager role within a 5-star luxury hotel or international resort environment.
– Skills & Personal Attributes:
* Exceptional public speaking, facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal communication abilities.
* Strong organizational skills and familiarity with digital learning management systems (LMS).
* Professional fluency in written and spoken English; Arabic language proficiency is a strong advantage.
