Saudi Aramco is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst with specialized expertise in Medical Actuarial Analysis. This role is responsible for conducting actuarial evaluations, financial risk modeling, and liability valuations for corporate medical benefit plans and healthcare programs across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
– Actuarial Valuation & Modeling: Perform complex actuarial valuations, healthcare cost forecasting, and reserve calculations for medical and employee benefit plans.
– Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare accounting disclosures and financial statements related to post-employment healthcare obligations in line with international accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP).
– Risk Assessment & Pricing: Analyze claims data, utilization trends, and medical inflation metrics to evaluate financial exposure and recommend cost-containment strategies.
– Strategic Advisory: Provide technical actuarial recommendations to finance and HR leadership regarding health plan design, funding mechanisms, and risk management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Accounting. Professional actuarial credential (e.g., Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries) is highly preferred.
– Experience: Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in actuarial modeling, healthcare risk analysis, or accounting for benefit plans, ideally within large corporations or top-tier consulting firms.
– Skills: Strong command of financial modeling, advanced statistical software, and international employee benefits accounting frameworks.
