Position Overview & Role Purpose:
Manage cash register and POS systems, accurately process sales transactions, handle customer payments, and deliver exceptional front-line service to shoppers across Majid Al Futtaim retail environments.

Key Responsibilities & Operational Duties:
– Greet customers warmly and provide a helpful, polite checkout experience.
– Operate electronic cash registers, barcode scanners, payment terminals, and POS systems with speed and precision.
– Process cash, debit, credit, and loyalty card transactions accurately, managing cash floats and reconciling drawers at shift changes.
– Handle customer inquiries, exchanges, returns, and refunds according to store policies.
– Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout counter workspace.
– Report any pricing discrepancies, system errors, or suspicious transactions promptly to the store supervisor.
Qualifications, Required Experience & Core Competencies:
– Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer-facing retail, grocery, or hospitality role preferred.
– Core Skills: Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to stand for extended periods and work in fast-paced environments.
– Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
