Position Overview & Role Purpose:
Conduct routine preventive maintenance (PM) inspections, troubleshoot issues, and execute repairs across assigned tMart dark stores and warehouse facilities to minimize operational disruption.

Key Responsibilities & Operational Duties:
– Perform regular store visits to assess facility conditions, identify maintenance needs, and execute corrective actions on-site.
– Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems.
– Coordinate with store operations teams to schedule maintenance windows with minimum impact on order fulfilment.
– Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and spare-parts inventory using the facility management system.
– Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls and supervise external contractors/vendors for specialist repairs.
Qualifications, Required Experience & Core Competencies:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering — required.
– Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a facility, industrial, or logistics/warehousing environment (experience in dark stores or fulfillment centres is highly preferred).
– Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems (panels, wiring, motor controls, UPS) and mechanical systems (HVAC, refrigeration, conveyors, pumps, compressors).
– Other Requirements: Strong problem-solving mindset, willingness to travel regularly to multiple store locations, and flexible availability.
