Al Tayer Motors is the group’s automotive business. It represents premium and luxury marques in the UAE and handles showroom sales, pre-delivery inspection, handover and aftersales. A new-car customer judges the brand at handover as much as in the showroom. This post sits between sales, PDI and the customer so the vehicle leaves clean, correct and explained.
**About this vacancy**
Full-time. You coordinate vehicle readiness and handover. You book the appointment with sales, check PDI status, prepare the configuration record, walk the customer through the car, and close the delivery to company sales policy. Delays, spec changes and last-minute issues are part of the job. You tell the customer early and keep the file accurate.
**Day-to-day work**
Morning starts with the delivery diary. You check which units PDI has released. You lock handover slots with sales consultants. Before the customer arrives you build or check the vehicle configuration record. You inspect presentation: fuel, cleanliness, accessories, documents, plates where relevant. You meet the customer, explain features, complete paperwork and capture sign-off. If PDI slips, you call the customer the same day. You work as one team with sales and PDI, not as a separate desk. Dubai and, on older JLR cards, Abu Dhabi cover may apply. Confirm on the live card.

Liaise with PDI on vehicle readiness.

Prepare the vehicle configuration record before delivery.
Notify customers of delays or spec changes.
Deliver the vehicle to sales-policy standard.
Give a clear, patient product walkthrough.
Keep handover documents complete.
Support a customer-focused sales and delivery team.
Protect handover quality and brand first impression.
**Who this role is for**
A customer-service or automotive handover specialist who likes detail and people. Not a workshop technician post. Not a pure sales-consultant post.
**Requirements**
Degree in any discipline or automotive vocational route.
About two years in a customer-service environment.
Automobile-sales knowledge from training or work.
Bilingual Arabic and English preferred on earlier JLR cards.
Attention to detail and quality.
