Position Overview & Role Purpose:
Are you a skilled, qualified, and guest-focused wellness professional looking to deliver rejuvenating spa experiences in an exclusive island sanctuary? Hawar Resort by Mantis (an Accor property) is seeking a dedicated Spa Therapist to join its wellness and spa team in the Hawar Islands, Bahrain.
In this guest-facing role, you will be responsible for providing professional massages, body treatments, facials, and wellness therapies while ensuring an atmosphere of absolute relaxation, luxury, and tranquility for every guest.

Key Responsibilities & Spa Duties:
1. Wellness Treatments & Guest Care:
– Perform a wide range of professional massage therapies, body treatments, facials, and beauty services in accordance with established spa standards.
– Conduct thorough pre-treatment consultations to understand guest needs, medical histories, preferences, and contraindications.
– Provide expert recommendations on home-care products, wellness routines, and spa service packages.
2. Spa Hygiene & Maintenance:
– Maintain pristine cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and equipment before, during, and after service.
– Ensure proper inventory management of oils, lotions, linens, and supplies, reporting any shortages or maintenance issues promptly.
– Adhere strictly to health, safety, and sanitation protocols at all times.
3. Guest Experience & Cross-Selling:
– Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service to ensure a tranquil and memorable wellness journey for every guest.
– Promote spa retail products, upcoming treatment packages, and resort wellness programs to achieve departmental targets.
– Collaborate smoothly with reception and front-of-house spa staff to manage appointment schedules efficiently.
Qualifications, Required Experience & Core Competencies:
– Academic Credentials:
* High School Diploma with a formal international certification or diploma in Massage Therapy, Cosmetology, or Esthetics.
– Professional Experience:
* Minimum 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a Spa Therapist within a 4- or 5-star luxury hotel, resort, or high-end day spa.
– Skills & Personal Attributes:
* Exceptional manual dexterity, stamina, and a calm, soothing demeanor.
* Outstanding communication skills and a strong customer-first orientation.
* Professional fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a strong asset.
