HR MANAGER – DP WORLD

Comprehensive Position Overview & Role Purpose:

DP World is seeking a dedicated MCV HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function for the MCV Cargo Business Unit in the United Arab Emirates. The role is responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of comprehensive HR services across the entire employee lifecycle, supporting business objectives through strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities & Operational Duties:

– Ensure full compliance with company policies, UAE labor legislation, and relevant maritime or quality standards (including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISM, and ISPS requirements).

– Lead end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and induction processes for shore-based personnel while supporting sea staff hiring needs.

– Provide expert guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance improvement plans, and terminations.

– Oversee payroll preparation, approval processes, salary reviews, promotions, and employee benefits administration in coordination with the finance team.

– Manage visa processing, work permits, and UAE immigration documentation to ensure absolute regulatory compliance.

– Oversee annual headcount budgeting, monitor HR expenditures, and prepare workforce statistics and management reports.

Qualifications, Required Experience & Core Competencies:

– Experience: Professional background in human resources management within corporate or maritime logistics environments.

– Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of UAE labor legislation, immigration procedures, and ISO/ISM/ISPS compliance frameworks.

– Core Skills: Strong leadership, stakeholder management, employee relations, recruitment, and payroll administration expertise.
