About the role
The deputy works with the Head of Prep and SLT on teaching quality, curriculum, quality assurance and professional learning in the Prep phase. The school uses cognitive-science and evidence-informed practice.
Key Responsibilities
Lead teaching, learning and curriculum in Prep.
Run quality assurance and school-improvement work.
Coach and mentor teachers and middle leaders.
Use data to track teaching quality and pupil progress.
Keep practice aligned with KHDA, BSO and UAE expectations.
Build relationships across the school community.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications & Requirements
Recognised teaching qualification plus a relevant bachelor’s.
Master’s or NPQ in Education, or a clear leadership-development path.
Significant leadership in a high-performing British curriculum school.
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England in Prep.
Track record of raising teaching quality and pupil outcomes.
Knowledge of KHDA and BSO standards.
Skill in coaching, curriculum and data.
UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.
