Amazon is looking for an experienced L&D Data Analyst, MEATR FC L&D in Cairo, Egypt.
This analyst role supports Learning & Development for fulfilment centres across Middle East, Africa and Turkey. The analyst turns data from several sources into reports, finds root causes and helps the learning team measure whether programmes are working.
About the role
The work is analytical and reporting-heavy. Typical output includes SQL extracts, Tableau or QuickSight dashboards, Python automation and weekly or quarterly business-review packs. It is a good fit for someone who already analyses data and can explain it clearly to L&D and operations leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain data-collection processes and data-management systems.
Write SQL queries to compile, transform and produce reports.
Create charts, graphs and dashboards in Tableau or QuickSight.
Use Python to automate recurring analysis.
Prepare reports for WBRs, QBRs and project updates.
Help leadership read trends and decide what to do next.
Research defect trends and find root causes.
Collect, enter and mine data when operations need it.
Turn complex analysis into standard reports that non-analysts can use.
Support Learning team projects with data.
Who this role is suitable for
This role suits an analyst who is comfortable with Excel, SQL and reporting, and who wants to support warehouse learning programmes across the MEATR network.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation.
Microsoft Office experience, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Experience in data analysis and reporting.
SQL and visualisation skills are important for the day-to-day work described above.
