STAFF NURSE

Comprehensive Position Overview & Organizational Purpose:

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH&RC) in Riyadh is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse I to provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process and meeting established standards of nursing practice and performance. The role demonstrates leadership competencies while in charge or acting as a shift resource/team leader.

Key Responsibilities & Core Duties:

– Patient Care & Nursing Process: Provides total patient care as assigned according to core standards of patient care and evidence-based practices; assumes accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and discharge planning.

– Collaborative & Multidisciplinary Support: Contributes to decreasing length of stay/waiting time, collaborates with Case Management, and promotes collaborative multidisciplinary partnerships to improve patient care outcomes.

– Safety & Quality Assurance: Promotes a safe environment, reports safety/security issues and equipment failures, and leads unit-based performance improvement activities.

– Education & Mentorship: Participates in new staff/nursing student orientation, acts as a preceptor/mentor, and contributes to continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

– Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s, Associate Degree, or Diploma in Nursing is required.

– Professional Experience: Two (2) years of nursing experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or four (4) years with an Associate Degree/Diploma is required.

– Licensing Requirements: Current Registered Nurse Licensure from country of origin and eligibility for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Licensure are required.
