Manage respiratory distress, sepsis, shock, seizures, trauma, poisoning, dehydration and acute infection. Order and interpret tests, including labs, imaging and ECG. Provide resuscitation and paediatric advanced life support when needed. Arrange admission, transfer or specialty referral. Prescribe to hospital protocol. Explain the plan to parents.
