Gulf Air is the national carrier of Bahrain. This post sits in station ground operations in Singapore. You supervise GHA (ground handling agent) staff in passenger-facing airport areas so flights check in, board and recover on time.
**About this vacancy**
Airport customer-services supervisor. You coordinate GHA teams on pre-flight checks, check-in, document control, transit, arrivals, special handling, baggage reclaim and disruption recovery. Shift work follows the flight schedule, including delays.
**Day-to-day work**
Direct GHA staff on check-in, travel-document checks and revenue documents. Handle transit passengers, STPC, meals and connections. Meet arrivals and escort UM, wheelchair and medical cases. Help at baggage reclaim and chase mishandled bags with Lost & Found and ramp. Look after high-yield and special-service passengers. Care for delayed and denied-boarding customers. Send post-flight messages on time. Help transfer loads for OTP and no misconnects. Support immigration queues. Check PIL, manifest and general declarations. Work seating issues with cabin crew. Control hand baggage at the gate. Tell the dispatcher about offloads, onloads and changes. Lead service recovery on long delays.
**Key responsibilities**
Oversee GHA staff in passenger handling areas.
Deliver check-in, transit, arrival and special-handling standards.
Protect OTP and connections.
Follow up mishandled baggage.
Keep post-flight messages and aircraft documents accurate.
Recover service during delays and disruptions.
**Requirements**
High school education.
Good command of English.
Airport passenger-services / GHA supervisory experience is expected for this title even though the experience box on the card is blank — confirm years on interview.
Able to work airport shifts in Singapore.
