The teacher delivers Islamic Studies, plans for mixed ability including ESL and gifted students, marks work and works with parents. Listed as non-Western trained.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver the Islamic Studies curriculum with current subject knowledge.
Plan and teach lessons for different learning styles.
Keep planning, attendance and assessment records.
Teach to individual need, including late joiners, ESL and gifted students.
Set and mark work and report progress.
Use classroom technology.
Promote student wellbeing.
Work with colleagues on resources and pastoral plans.
Manage behaviour and keep the classroom safe.
Meet parents and share progress, keeping records confidential.
