Al Tayer Group is looking for an experienced Design Coordinator – UAE National in United Arab Emirates.
The role coordinates with clients, external consultants and Project Managers to ensure that all design intent and specifications are followed through until project handover.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise effectively with Clients, Consultants, Landlords and Al Tayer Group Managers during design planning to ensure timely delivery of complete and accurate design documents for assigned projects.
Support the design and detailed development of projects, monitor progress, and suggest design amendments or improvements where needed.
Ensure all required deliverables are submitted on time, remain accurate, and comply with the brief, including any variations or adjustments.
Thoroughly review client manuals and project applications and confirm compliance on site.
Work with the Site team so they fully understand the information in the design documents and provide additional supporting design details whenever required during project execution.
Conduct regular site visits to observe progress, carry out compliance checks on previously reviewed design work, and prepare design review reports.
Advise the Project Manager of any problems that arise, including client complaints, design errors or necessary site adjustments, and offer practical suggestions.
Provide regular project progress reports to the Project Manager as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Degree in Architecture with solid knowledge of preparing concept and detail drawings, preferably gained on interior fit-out projects.
2–3 years of experience using AutoCAD, with strong ability to solve design and project execution issues.
