Document Controller – UAE National

Al Tayer Group is looking for an experienced Document Controller – UAE National in United Arab Emirates.

The role provides document and data maintenance support to the Projects team and handles all related administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the documentation system so that drawings, documents and other information can be stored and retrieved efficiently. Keep all records, files and databases updated.

Collect data and maintain Site Status Reports with the latest updates on ongoing projects using Microsoft Excel or MS Project.

Receive tender documents and material specifications from Project Managers, examine the requirements, and coordinate with the client or consultant for any clarifications.

Prepare detailed comparisons of item quality and supplier prices, obtain approval from Project Managers, and raise purchase orders with the most cost-effective and suitable supplier.

Assist in preparing Local Purchase Orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery according to the terms stated on the purchase orders.

Update Financial Status Reports to track actual expenses against budgets and report any variations at each stage of the projects.

Distribute relevant reports to the Design team, contractors and other divisions and keep them informed of project progress and status.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Graduate in any discipline.
2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
