Position Overview & Role Purpose:
The Senior Network Specialist will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company network infrastructure. This role involves close collaboration with the IT team to ensure the network meets organizational needs while remaining secure and reliable, alongside providing technical support and troubleshooting for network issues.

Key Responsibilities & Operational Duties:
– Design and implement network solutions based on business requirements.
– Configure and maintain network equipment, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
– Monitor and optimize network performance, and perform routine network maintenance tasks like software upgrades and patch management.
– Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution.
– Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure.
– Stay up to date with the latest network technologies, trends, and security best practices.
Qualifications, Required Experience & Core Competencies:
– Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Professional Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in network administration or a related role.
– Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent.
– Technical Proficiencies: Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and experience with network monitoring tools.
– Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work independently.
