Qatar Airways is looking for an experienced TS Engineer in Doha, Qatar.
This is a first and second level IT support role in the IT Service Centre. The engineer is the first contact for IT queries and works rotational shifts to cover 24/7 support. The focus is on fast, professional service for internal users and external partners, with complex cases escalated when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to user requests by phone, email or ticketing system.
Diagnose and fix basic hardware, software and network issues.
Escalate complex problems to the next support level.
Keep accurate records of issues and solutions in the service management system.
Guide users on standard IT processes and tools.
Follow SOPs so service quality stays consistent.
Comply with security guidelines and policies at all times.
Provide remote and on-site help to internal users and external partners.
Use and add to the knowledge base to speed up future fixes.
Work with application and service teams on escalations.
Prepare accurate shift reports of activities and incidents.
Meet Operational Level Agreements and Service Level Agreements.
Listen carefully and stay patient when handling user concerns.
Review common complaints to spot trends and suggest improvements.
Remain ready to work overtime when operations require it.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant technical support experience, preferably in an IT services environment.
Strong English communication skills. Arabic is an advantage.
Ability to work rotational shifts and stay calm under pressure.
CCNA, MCSE and ITIL Foundation certifications are an advantage.
