Qatar Airways is looking for an experienced Transport Team Leader in Doha, Qatar.
This role covers Voyage Report investigations for the Transport department, daily leave and overtime planning, monthly KPI reporting, and review of On Time Performance data. The team leader also helps build the Transport roster under Duty Supervisor guidance and supports rostering, vehicle maintenance records and ramp safety training records. Catering delivery must follow customer specifications and airport safety rules.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch allocated flights on time according to airline specifications, food safety standards and airport safety rules.
Check and safeguard issued tablets, radios, personal protective equipment and probe guns.
Carry out Voyage Report investigations for the Transport department.
Put management instructions into practice for aircraft delivery and handling, food safety, quality control and security.
Support loading and offloading of all flights, including complex, ultra-long haul, VIP, charter, private and other ad hoc operations when required.
Follow ramp safety rules and marshalling procedures while working airside.
Allocate work and monitor the performance of equipment operators and other drivers in Service Delivery.
Suggest training for new and existing staff and give timely feedback.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience in airport transport, catering delivery, ramp operations or team leadership.
Knowledge of airport safety rules, food safety standards and on-time performance processes.
Ability to manage rosters, investigations and operational reporting.
Flexibility for shift-based airport operations.
