Position Overview & Role Purpose:
Provide specialized mechanical engineering expertise and support for offshore and onshore oil and gas projects. Ensure that mechanical equipment, piping, and static/rotating machinery comply with company engineering standards, safety regulations, and project performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Operational Duties:
– Provide technical oversight and design integrity assurance for mechanical systems, rotating machinery, and static pressure equipment.
– Review and evaluate engineering design packages, technical specifications, scope of work documents, and contractor proposals.
– Ensure strict compliance with international mechanical codes, company standards, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) guidelines.
– Support operational and maintenance teams in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex mechanical equipment failures and integrity issues.
– Conduct technical risk assessments, Management of Change (MOC) reviews, and quality control checks across project life cycles.
Qualifications, Required Experience & Core Competencies:
– Education: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university.
– Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 to 12 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in the oil and gas sector, with proven expertise in offshore facilities.
– Core Skills: In-depth technical knowledge of mechanical equipment standards (API, ASME, ANSI), plant integrity, project engineering, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
