Position Overview & Role Purpose:
Are you an experienced mechanical technician specializing in marine diesel engines? Milaha is seeking a skilled Marine Mechanic to join its technical team in Mesaieed Industrial City, Qatar.
In this critical mechanical role, you will perform major and specialized overhauls, repair marine diesel engines (main and auxiliary engines), service hydraulic systems, and ensure all work meets high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities & Operational Duties:
– Perform major and specialized mechanical overhaul and repair work on marine diesel engines (main engines and auxiliary engines) using technical manuals.
– Test, repair, and overhaul marine engines, hydraulic systems, bow and stern thruster units.
– Operate hand and power tools associated with marine engines and equipment.
– Perform propeller and tailshaft removing, refitting, and replacing of seals.
– Write specifications for and recommend the purchase of marine engine spares.
– Carry out complete overhauling of all types of engines, pumps, compressors, valves, and turbochargers.
– Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul any type of diesel engine in compliance with quality assurance procedures.
Qualifications, Required Experience & Core Competencies:
– Education & Professional Qualification: High School or Secondary School, ITI certificate, or similar in diesel engines (preferably marine).
– Professional Experience: 6 years as a technician working on marine diesel engines and gearboxes.
– Computer & Language Skills: Basic computer knowledge is an added advantage. English and Hindi are preferable.
