Position Overview & Role Purpose:

Are you a skilled production technician with a background in printing press machinery and soft packaging operations? Ali Bin Ali Holding is seeking a dedicated Book Sewing Machine and Burger Box Machine Operator to join its printing press division in Doha, Qatar.

In this vital manufacturing role, you will be responsible for reviewing job orders, setting up and operating specialized book sewing and burger box making machines, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring top-tier product quality.

Key Responsibilities & Operational Duties:

1. Machinery Operation & Setup:

– Review job orders carefully to make the correct adjustments to printing and packaging machinery.

– Operate the book sewing machine and burger box making machine efficiently according to production guidelines.

– Adjust press machine parts—such as plates, rollers, and feed guides—to meet required output specifications.

2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

– Inspect press machinery regularly for potential malfunctions, wear, or abnormal sounds (e.g., creaking).

– Perform minor troubleshooting and routine maintenance tasks on printing machinery.

– Coordinate seamlessly with the in-house maintenance team for complex machine malfunctions.

3. Facility Upkeep & Skill Development:

– Maintain cleanliness across the printing press area and equipment peripherals.

– Keep updated with the latest printing technologies and cross-train with other operators to enhance overall plant flexibility.

Qualifications, Required Experience & Core Competencies:

– Academic Credentials:

* Certificate in a Printing Technology program or equivalent technical vocational training.

– Professional Experience:

* Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience handling burger box making machines or book sewing machines within a printing or packaging plant.

– Skills & Personal Attributes:

* Strong technical knowledge of printing press mechanisms and parts installation.

* Exceptional attention to detail, safety compliance, and quality control.

* Good communication and interpersonal teamwork skills.
