Position Overview & Role Purpose:
Are you a vigilant, safety-conscious professional looking to build a career in hospitality security? Marriott International is seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Officer to join its property security team in Bahrain. (Note: This position is exclusively open to Bahraini nationals in alignment with national employment initiatives).
In this vital security role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all hotel guests, visitors, and associates, safeguarding property assets, patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding promptly to emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities & Security Duties:
1. Property Patrol & Surveillance:
– Conduct regular patrols of the hotel interior, exterior perimeter, parking facilities, and back-of-house areas to deter theft, trespassing, and safety hazards.
– Monitor closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems, alarms, and electronic access control systems continuously.
– Ensure all safety and security equipment is fully operational and report any maintenance defects immediately.
2. Guest & Associate Safety:
– Assist guests and associates politely and professionally, providing directions or safety guidance when needed.
– Enforce hotel safety regulations, fire safety protocols, and operational security policies strictly.
– Manage crowd control or restricted access during VIP visits, hotel events, or high-occupancy periods.
3. Emergency Response & Incident Reporting:
– Respond swiftly and calmly to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, security disturbances, or accidents.
– Coordinate with local emergency services, police, or civil defense authorities when required.
– Prepare clear, accurate, and detailed incident reports documenting all security occurrences, investigations, and safety checks.
Qualifications, Required Experience & Core Competencies:
– Academic Credentials & Nationality:
* High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
* Position exclusively open to Bahraini nationals (Local Hire).
– Professional Experience:
* 1 to 3 years of experience in security, loss prevention, military, police, or hospitality safety operations.
– Skills & Personal Attributes:
* Strong physical fitness, alertness, and ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
* Excellent observation, conflict resolution, and emergency response capabilities.
* Professional fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
