Talabat is looking for an experienced Dispatcher – Kitchens in Doha, Qatar.
This operations role controls order flow in a cloud-kitchen environment. The dispatcher sends orders from kitchen partners to riders, solves delivery problems during the shift and helps keep food-safety and service standards in place.
About the role
The work is shift-based and operational. The dispatcher watches systems, internet connections and kitchen performance metrics, leads other dispatch staff when needed, and reports issues to kitchen managers. It is a good fit for people who already know dispatch or logistics and can stay calm when orders pile up.
Key Responsibilities
Make sure kitchen systems and internet connections keep working throughout the shift.
Supervise and support the dispatch team, including training when needed.
Dispatch orders from operating partners to riders in an organised way.
Resolve order and delivery issues with customers, riders and the customer-service centre.
Help partners follow food-safety rules and hygiene standards.
Complete regular food-safety checks and audits using kitchen inspection procedures.
Keep communication accurate and timely between customers, riders and dispatchers.
Follow company policies, industry rules and safety standards.
Report shift problems to kitchen managers and fix issues on the spot when possible.
Track kitchen performance metrics such as FIR, AVTC, vendor delay and vendor net fail.
Make sure kitchen visitors complete questionnaires and health declarations before entry.
Who this role is suitable for
This role suits a practical dispatcher who can work nights, weekends and holidays. Cloud-kitchen experience is useful but not essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
At least a high-school diploma.
At least 2 years in dispatch operations or logistics.
Basic computer skills and basic data-gathering and analysis ability.
Flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Prior cloud-kitchen experience is an advantage.
