Sidra Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) specialized in Women’s Services to deliver high-quality, patient-centered healthcare. Operating as an independent clinical practitioner, the role focuses on comprehensive female healthcare across all age brackets, including preventive screening, antenatal monitoring, family planning, menopause management, and urogynecology support in alignment with MOPH standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient health evaluations, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing (e.g., Pap smears, pelvic exams).
Provide low-risk prenatal care, maternal health assessments, and risk screenings.
Deliver family planning advice, fit or remove contraceptive devices, and oversee hormone therapies.
Manage conditions related to menopause, pelvic floor dysfunction, and urogynecology concerns.
Prescribe approved pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions per operational guidelines.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams, recommend physician referrals, and support research initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution with Specialty Board Certification and active Registered Nurse status.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of overall clinical practice, including at least 2 years as a Nurse Practitioner and 2+ years specialized in women’s health post-Master’s/PhD.
Licensure: Active home country nursing license, BLS certification (Adult/Pediatric), and ALS certification where applicable.
