Sidra Medicine is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver and organize basic nursing care for individuals, families, and groups. The role focuses on caring for patients with low-acuity, stable, and predictable health conditions, while collaborating with healthcare teams to support more complex patient needs.
​Key Responsibilities:
​Deliver nursing services focused on health promotion, maintenance, disease prevention, treatment, and palliation for stable, low-acuity patients.
​Assess health status, plan, implement, evaluate, and document practical nursing care.
​Administer prescribed medications, basic medical care, and comfort care, while monitoring and reporting adverse reactions.
​Collect samples for diagnostic testing, perform routine lab tests, and clean/monitor medical equipment.
​Educate patients and families on procedures and care plans while supporting physicians and RNs during clinical tests.
​Refer patients to a Licensed RN if their clinical condition becomes unstable or critical.
​Qualifications & Requirements:
​Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing (2 years post-high school or equivalent).
​Experience: Minimum 2+ years of work experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse. (Exemptions/reductions apply for Qatari nationals and local graduates per DHP circulars).
​Licensure: Eligible for registration with the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) in Qatar and holds active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
​Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, effective communication, strong teamwork capabilities, and fluency in written and spoken English.
