The Pharmacist is responsible for the overall management of the pharmacy from MOH and organizational perspectives. This position ensures high-quality patient and customer care, handles administrative tasks, supervises staff, manages inventory, and strictly maintains MOH compliance and quality standards.
​Key Responsibilities:
​Welcome patients/customers and handle customer phone calls and queries promptly.
​Perform accurate dispensing of medicines in prescribed dosages, quantities, and appropriate packaging to maintain potency.
​Assign tasks, delegate duties, induct, train, evaluate, and develop pharmacy staff.
​Supervise medication storage and inventory on racks; ensure proper handling and maintain zero-tolerance policies for medicine placed on the pharmacy floor.
​Implement and improve Quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) according to MOH guidelines in coordination with the Quality Manager.
​Ensure full MOH compliance, maintain updated documentation, and participate in monthly review meetings.
​Qualifications & Requirements:
​Licensure & Certifications: Valid Pharmacist license from the relevant regulatory health authority (MOH) and a valid American Heart Association BLS Provider card. Responsible for self-re-licensure.
​Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; flexibility to work across departments.
​Desirable: Ability to communicate in Arabic, experience working within inter-professional teams, and proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platforms for clinical documentation.
