Position Overview & Role Purpose:
Are you an experienced logistics professional with a strong leadership background looking to drive operational excellence and team development within a global aviation leader? Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services (LTLS) is seeking a Teamleiter Logistik Operations (m/w/divers) to join its special warehouse logistics division in Frankfurt am Main.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will manage, coach, and develop logistics team members while planning, monitoring, and optimizing warehouse operations, supply chain performance, and cost budgets.

LTLS is a specialist subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group responsible for professional warehousing, asset management, inventory control, and supply chain logistics required to guarantee smooth technical operations for aircraft components worldwide.
Key Responsibilities & Operational Duties:
1. Team Leadership & Personnel Development:
– Lead, mentor, and foster the professional development of logistics operations team members.
– Represent the group leader when required and ensure a collaborative, high-performance work culture.
2. Operational Logistics & Process Optimization:
– Plan, control, and supervise daily warehouse and logistics processes, implementing corrective actions when deviations occur.
– Drive efficiency, performance quality, and productivity improvements balancing customer expectations with standardized procedures.
– Oversee facility resource procurement, manage logistics projects, and guarantee adherence to high safety and quality standards.
3. Financial & Budget Controlling:
– Plan, monitor, and control operational cost and investment budgets for the department.
– Analyze target-versus-actual cost metrics and initiate corrective actions to ensure financial compliance and budgetary control.
Qualifications, Required Experience & Core Competencies:
– Academic Credentials:
* Completed university degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical/economic discipline.
– Professional Background:
* Several years (3 to 5 years) of proven professional experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
– Technical & Language Skills:
* Comprehensive expert knowledge of modern logistics operations and supply chain methodologies.
* Excellent IT literacy, including proficiency in SAP/R3 and MS Office applications.
* Negotiating-level fluency in German (written and spoken) and good command of English.
Compensation & Benefits Package:
– Attractive starting salary from approximately €64,000 per annum (for full-time work, dependent on experience).
