Comprehensive Position Overview & Organizational Purpose:
GMG, a global well-being company operating across sport, food, and health sectors, is seeking a licensed and dedicated MOH Pharmacist to join its healthcare division in Dubai. Under its GMG Health vertical, the company manages leading retail and pharmacy concepts, including Super Care Pharmacy, delivering exceptional health, wellness, and pharmaceutical services.
Key Responsibilities & Core Duties:
– Prescription Review & Dispensing: Review customer prescriptions for accuracy, evaluate suitability, compound medications, and dispense prescriptions as prescribed by authorized practitioners.
– Patient Counseling: Provide expert advice to customers regarding drug interactions, side effects, proper dosages, and medication storage.
– Sales & Target Achievement: Drive store sales targets by utilizing effective sales techniques, up-selling, and cross-selling across various health and beauty categories.
– Inventory & Store Operations: Manage pharmaceutical supply orders, maintain stock levels, handle inventory and expiration tracking, and ensure proper merchandising.
– Regulatory Compliance & Insurance: Comply with local health authority rules and regulations (MOH / DHA), maintain required pharmacy records, and liaise with insurance companies for timely billing claims processing.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
– Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
– Licensing Requirement: Must hold a valid UAE Ministry of Health (MOH) License or Eligibility Letter.
– Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered pharmacist in the UAE.
– Core Competencies: Strong communication skills in English, customer-centric approach, and flexibility to work in rotating shifts as required by business operations.
