Comprehensive Position Overview & Organizational Purpose:
A leading retail and distribution group in Oman is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Supervisor to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, manage inventory flow, coordinate logistics, and optimize warehouse and distribution activities to ensure seamless operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities & Core Duties:
– Inventory & Stock Control: Monitors inventory levels, oversees stock replenishment, and ensures accurate stock records and warehouse management procedures.
– Logistics & Distribution Coordination: Coordinates shipment schedules, liaises with transport and delivery teams, and ensures timely dispatch and delivery of goods across operational networks.
– Vendor & Supplier Management: Collaborates with suppliers and vendors to monitor order statuses, manage delivery timelines, and resolve supply discrepancies.
– Operational Compliance: Ensures adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all supply chain and warehousing activities.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
– Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Professional Experience: Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse supervision, preferably within the FMCG, retail, or distribution sectors in the GCC.
– Core Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in supply chain software/ERP systems, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
