The Stores Supervisor oversees daily store and warehouse activities—including receiving, storing, picking, and issuing materials—to maintain smooth inventory operations, maintain accurate ERP records, and ensure strict safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily store and warehouse operations (receiving, storing, picking, and issuing materials).
Inspect incoming goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and technical specifications.
Maintain proper storage, labeling, stock organization, and adequate stock availability.
Conduct regular physical stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and update inventory records in the ERP system.
Process material requisitions, Goods Received Notes (GRN), stock transfers, and issue vouchers for authorized requests.
Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and other departments regarding inventory needs.
Enforce proper FIFO/FEFO practices and monitor slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, or expired stock.
Allocate tasks to storekeepers and warehouse assistants, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Ensure correct handling and storage of fragile, hazardous, temperature-sensitive, or high-value items.
Prepare periodic inventory/operational reports and support internal and external audits.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in stores, warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of inventory control/warehouse procedures, ERP systems, and MS Office (especially Excel).
Core Competencies: Excellent organizational, communication, and team management skills with the ability to perform under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
