Bahrain Airport Services is looking for an experienced Senior Controller – Airside Operations in Muharraq, Bahrain.
BAS is the sole ground handler at Bahrain International Airport. This shift role manages airside activity so turnaround stays safe, compliant and efficient.
About the role
The controller runs the airside picture on shift: ramp, GSE, on-time performance and coordination with airlines and airport authorities. Airport driving and airside clearance are part of the job.
Key Responsibilities
Manage BAS airside activities on shift.
Keep service delivery safe, compliant and efficient.
Work to company and airport health, safety and security rules.
Coordinate ramp and ground teams during aircraft turns.
Escalate operational risks quickly.
Complete other duties directed by management.
Who this role is suitable for
This role suits an airside or ground-handling supervisor who has already worked a major airport or airline ramp.
Qualifications & Requirements
College degree, preferably aviation-related, or at least a high school diploma.
Minimum 5 years in airside operations, or 5 years in aviation, preferably ground handling for a major airline.
Aviation operations courses completed.
Strong operations knowledge and customer-service standard.
Good written and spoken English.
Driving licence; airport airside driving permit required.
Attention to detail and quality.
Airport security vetting applies.
