Counter Sales Associate

Position Overview & Role Purpose:

Are you an enthusiastic and customer-oriented professional looking to start your career in food and beverage retail? Azadea Group is seeking a dedicated Counter Sales Associate to join its restaurant and café operations team (such as Paul Café) in Kuwait.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for selling displayed food items, managing counter display operations, processing customer transactions, and ensuring all orders are prepared and served accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities & Operational Duties:

1. Customer Service & Order Management:

– Greet and serve walk-in customers warmly, providing high-level service through deep product knowledge and established procedures.

– Process orders received from waiters, organize them according to service standards, and ensure timely delivery within designated timeframes.

– Receive, wrap, and prepare takeaway orders according to standards, accommodating special requests as needed.

2. Counter Upkeep & Food Display:

– Check daily incoming orders against specifications, display food items in presentation fridges, and maintain regular restocking while upholding strict hygiene standards.

– Implement hygiene practices such as the “Clean as you go” policy and regularly sanitize counter display areas.

– Participate in opening and closing duties, complete monthly inventories for consumable items, and maintain proper shift handover logs.

3. Cash Handling & Administration:

– Receive and process cash payments, exchanges, and money transactions in accordance with company financial policies.

– Maintain and report accurate records, including taste panels, wastage forms, and daily training logs, promptly escalating any complaints to management.

Qualifications, Required Experience & Core Competencies:

– Academic Credentials:

* High School Degree or equivalent educational background.

– Professional Experience:

* 0 to 1 year of experience in customer service, retail, or a similar food and beverage role.

– Skills & Personal Attributes:

* Customer-focused attitude with high energy, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of urgency.

* Ability to follow streamlined processes, optimize work methods, and collaborate smoothly within a team.

* Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
