Assists the Estimating Manager in preparing realistic and competitive estimates for labor and material costs required for projects. Enables senior management to evaluate economic viability and decide on tender participation.
​Key Responsibilities:
​Functional Roles: Procures labor and material costs within the company and vets price quotations to present competitive costs to management.
​Functional Roles: Prepares job cost summaries (labor, material, quantity, and quality strictly following client specifications) upon project award.
​Functional Roles: Assists the Estimating Manager in executing cost-effective strategies in coordination with the Quantity Surveying department.
​Functional Roles: Finalizes tenders using CCS.
​Functional Roles: Prepares estimates for the Quantity Surveyor to obtain client/consultant approval for labor/material cost variations resulting from design changes.
​Functional Roles: Prepares and prices BOQs from drawings, submitting them to the Estimating Manager for approval.
​Functional Roles: Supports the Chief Estimator in drafting pre- and post-completion cost reports to assess project profitability.
​Qualifications & Requirements:
​Education: Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying (QS).
​Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in a large construction or interior fit-out company.
