**About SEHA and STMC**
SEHA runs public hospitals and clinics in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. This civil engineer supports facility projects at STMC: construction, renovation and maintenance of healthcare buildings, working with the senior engineer, consultants, contractors and hospital users.
**About this vacancy**
You plan, review and supervise civil works so they follow approved drawings, safety rules, statutory requirements and the contract. You are not the lead design director. You support the senior engineer and coordinate with other disciplines.
**Day-to-day work**
Review civil drawings and specifications from consultants and contractors. Check site conditions and foundations. Prepare calculations, cost inputs and progress notes. Inspect works in progress. Raise issues on quality or compliance. Support renovation and small projects inside the hospital campus.
**Key responsibilities**
Support planning and design of civil works.
Review drawings, blueprints and technical submissions.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors and end users.
Inspect sites and monitor quality and safety.
Prepare reports and estimates for facility projects.
Follow SEHA engineering procedures.
**Requirements**
Civil engineering degree.
About 2–4 years in similar facility or construction work, as listed on public SEHA cards for this title. Confirm years on Job 5275.
Able to read drawings and work on a hospital site.
English for technical reports. Arabic useful.
UAE work eligibility.
