American Hospital Dubai is hiring a Staff Nurse for its Obstetric & Gynecology Clinic to provide direct patient-centered nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric female patients. The position involves assisting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic gynecological procedures and monitoring patient well-being.
​Key Responsibilities:
​Assist in specialized procedures: Colposcopy, Cryotherapy, Endometrial Biopsy, Excision of Bartholin Cyst, removal of Cervical Cerclage/Polyps, IUD insertion/removal, and Implant procedures.
​Perform Cardiotocography (CTG) Monitoring.
​Conduct patient assessments, evaluate physical/psychological needs, and develop age-specific care plans.
​Administer and safely handle narcotic, controlled, and semi-controlled medications according to facility protocols.
​Ensure compliance with Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standards and unit safety guidelines.
​Qualifications & Requirements:
​Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (minimum 3-year full-time course) or equivalent Registered Nurse qualification.
​Licensure: Active license/registration in home country or country of last employment. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS / BCLS) Certification is mandatory.
​Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent post-graduate experience in an Obstetrics and Gynecology clinical setting.
