Static Mechanical Engineer

Aramco is looking for a Static Mechanical Engineer to join the Jafurah Gas Plant Engineering Division (JGPED) under the Jafurah Gas Plant Department (JGPD). The department handles feed gas processing and the production of sales gas, condensate, and C2+NGL. The primary role involves handling static equipment and piping activities, including studies and design modifications within operating facilities. ​Key Responsibilities: • Identify operational optimization opportunities and lead engineering teams in routine plant operations. • Provide technical guidance and support to in-kingdom and out-of-kingdom design contractors, as well as day-to-day support for operations and maintenance teams. • Formulate long-term cost-reduction strategies and participate in standards committees to refine company guidelines. • Manage Management of Change (MOC) processes and verify post-implementation system performance. • Review project proposals, evaluate detailed design packages, and develop engineering packages for site modifications. • Perform and review stress analysis for piping and ensure proper piping and flange material selection. ​Qualifications & Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program with a specialization in static equipment. • 10 to 15 years of experience in static mechanical engineering. • Experience or certification in CAESAR II software is a non-negotiable requirement. • Comprehensive knowledge of industry codes and standards, specifically API and ASME. • Proven ability to direct, coordinate, and technically support asset integrity and reliability for static equipment and piping systems.
