Business Origination Specialist

Aramco is seeking a Business Origination Specialist to join the Origination & Portfolio Optimization Department under the New Business Development (NBD) organization. This department plays a strategic role in shaping the company’s long-term direction by identifying, sourcing, and evaluating global transaction opportunities including joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions (buy-side and sell-side), and divestments. ​Key Responsibilities: • Generate new business ideas, conduct desktop market research, and assess commercial and economic feasibility. • Articulate strategic and financial rationales for opportunities, incorporating market trends, business impact, and risk mitigation. • Develop business plans and financial models, and review models prepared by external/internal teams. • Produce thought leadership reports detailing strategy and performance across target companies, industries, and sectors. • Lead cross-functional teams to advance new opportunities and refine internal origination processes. • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to keep abreast of emerging industry trends and mentor junior staff. ​Qualifications & Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred). • Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, or PMP are a plus. • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience across energy, technology, professional services, real estate, or infrastructure (15 years required if no MBA/certification is held). • Strong background in financial valuations, modeling, commercial feasibility studies, deal strategy, and market positioning. • Knowledge of commercialization, spin-offs, joint venturing, and market intelligence analytics tools.
