Comprehensive Position Overview & Organizational Purpose:
A leading retail and distribution group in the UAE is seeking an experienced Sales Supervisor to drive volume, value, and distribution goals across assigned teams and territories while maintaining excellent trade relations and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities & Core Duties:
– Target Achievement: Delivers targeted monthly volume, value, distribution goals, and budgeted receivables (DSO) objectives for the team and territory.
– Public & Trade Relations: Maintains harmonious public relations with trade partners, ensuring prompt and efficient customer service at all times.
– KPIs & Distribution: Achieves set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on distribution and visibility, implementing Business Development Agreements (BDAs) or securing space according to market share and planograms.
– Promotions & Trade Spends: Implements New Product Introduction (NPI) promotions within agreed timelines, controls trade returns and bad debts, and manages trade spends within authorized limits.
– Market Execution & Audits: Spends 75% of time in trade working with the team and conducting independent audits to measure execution, take swift action on new outlet openings, and evaluate competition activities.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
– Educational Background: Graduate degree.
– Professional Experience & Skills: Mid-career level with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, strong leadership and supervisory skills, proven track record in driving sales targets, and strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
– Requirements: Must hold a valid driving license, excellent Microsoft Office skills, and SAP knowledge.
