Position Overview & Role Purpose:
Perform specialized ultrasound and radiographic procedures within radiology facilities, ER, OR, OPD, and special clinics on a 24-hour on-call rotation basis, ensuring strict adherence to radiation safety regulations and optimal diagnostic quality.

Key Responsibilities & Operational Duties:
– Perform work in radiography rooms and wards on a 24-hour on-call rotation basis within radiology facilities and special clinics[span_2](start_span)[span_2](end_span).
– Review radiologic and ultrasound requests to determine regions to be examined and projections required based on patient history, departmental guidelines, and physician recommendations[span_3](start_span)[span_3](end_span).
– Transports, prepares, and positions patients with care, tact, courtesy, and patience[span_4](start_span)[span_4](end_span).
– Adjusts, manipulates, and controls highly technological radiographic and ultrasound equipment to obtain optimum quality radiographs[span_5](start_span)[span_5](end_span).
– Prepares and assists in administering contrast media, performing specialized radiographic procedures under the general supervision of a radiologist[span_6](start_span)[span_6](end_span).
– Maintains clean, antiseptic conditions in the radiology environment and adheres to sterile and isolation techniques to prevent contamination[span_7](start_span)[span_7](end_span).
– Strictly observe medical regulations, safety policies, infection control protocols, and OSH procedures[span_8](start_span)[span_8](end_span).
Qualifications, Required Experience & Core Competencies:
– Education: Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound or Sonography[span_9](start_span)[span_9](end_span).
– Professional Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of post-qualification experience in a related field[span_10](start_span)[span_10](end_span).
– Licensure: Currently licensed in country of origin and holding/eligible for a DOH / DHA / MOH License to practice in the UAE[span_11](start_span)[span_11](end_span).
– Language Skills: Fluent in spoken and written English; Arabic language proficiency is desirable but not essential[span_12](start_span)[span_12](end_span).
