About the role
The teacher joins a large Science faculty with specialist leadership in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computing and KS3 Science, labs and technicians. Work can run from KS3 to KS5. Shared planning, CPD and an ECT programme are in place. STEM enrichment is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Biology across the relevant key stages.
Support GCSE and/or A-Level where needed.
Use assessment and differentiation so all students progress.
Work with colleagues on shared planning and faculty development.
Join enrichment, competitions and STEM activity where possible.
Follow GEMS safeguarding and school values.

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s in Biology or a relevant subject.
Recognised PGCE and QTS, or equivalent.
GCSE and/or A-Level knowledge is useful.
Strong communication, organisation and inclusion practice.
