Kirby International is looking for an experienced Sr. Construction Engineer in India.
This site-based role focuses on quality control and assurance during project erection. The engineer checks fabricated items sent to site, audits erection quality in the region, and works with manufacturing to correct issues. PEB or structural steel site experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply QA systems and procedures at project sites.
Inspect fabricated items to confirm they meet the required quality parameters before and after they reach site.
Carry out quality audits of erection sites in the assigned region.
Raise corrective and preventive actions and report quality issues to manufacturing for rectification.
Troubleshoot quality problems during site erection and train site engineers when needed.
Travel extensively across project sites.
Handle internal customer concerns related to QA.
Help improve customer satisfaction on erection and construction quality.
Qualifications & Requirements:
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
6–10 years of quality control and assurance experience at project sites, including third-party inspection or PEB / structural steel shop-floor QC.
Working knowledge of ASTM, AWS, ASME and API standards.
NDT certification in PT, UT, MPI or RT is preferred.
Knowledge of ISO QMS systems and MS Office.
Willingness to work at project sites and travel extensively.
Age range around 28–35 years.
Location indicated as West Region (Gujarat) on the job details.
