GEMS World Academy, Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced and dedicated Arabic Teacher to join the team starting September 2026. Located on Al Reem Island, the school offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework alongside elements of the British curriculum. ​Key Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality Arabic lessons in line with MOE and ADEK curriculum standards. • Plan and prepare engaging lessons catering to diverse student needs and monitor progress using assessment data. • Ensure full compliance with MOE and ADEK policies in classroom practice and assist in external/internal inspection preparations. • Integrate UAE national identity, values, and heritage into lessons and participate in national celebrations (e.g., UAE National Day, Flag Day). • Collaborate within the Arabic Department, participate in professional development, and mentor developing teachers as needed. • Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress and foster positive home-school partnerships. ​Qualifications & Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language / Education (Master’s preferred). • Teaching qualification recognized by MOE/ADEK. • Minimum 2-3 years teaching experience in Arabic. • Experience with ADEK inspections, MOE compliance, and departmental leadership. ​What We Offer: • Competitive tax-free salary • Private medical insurance and end-of-service gratuity • Comprehensive professional development, including IB training opportunities • Staff well-being benefits, including access to fitness facilities, wellness sessions, and social events
