This orthopaedic-support role applies and removes casts and splints at King Hamad American Mission Hospital in A’ali and Manama. AMH wants candidates with at least five years’ experience at reputable organisations, and they must already be locally available.
About the role
The plaster technician works with orthopaedic doctors and nurses in clinic and emergency settings. The work covers plaster, fibreglass and splint application, cast care advice and safe removal.
Key Responsibilities
Apply and remove plaster and synthetic casts as directed by the clinician.
Prepare splints and support fracture-clinic flow.
Check circulation and skin after application and escalate problems quickly.
Keep plaster-room stock and tools ready.
Follow infection-control and waste rules.
Give patients clear cast-care instructions as assigned.

This role suits a plaster or orthopaedic technician who already works in a hospital fracture clinic or A&E plaster room and can start locally in Bahrain.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
