American Mission Hospital is looking for an experienced NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) Nurse in A’ali / Manama, Bahrain.

 

This neonatal nursing role cares for sick and premature newborns at King Hamad American Mission Hospital in A’ali and Manama. AMH requires at least five years’ experience and local availability.

 

About the role

 

The NICU nurse monitors incubators, feeds, oxygen and infusions, and works closely with neonatologists and families. Shift work is part of the role.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Provide neonatal intensive-care nursing to assigned babies.

 

Monitor vital signs, devices and feeding and escalate deterioration.

 

Support neonatal procedures as assigned.

 

Keep documentation complete.

 

Follow infection-control and incubator-care protocols.

 

Support parents with clear, calm updates as directed.

 

Who this role is suitable for

 

This role suits a nurse who already works in NICU and can start locally in Bahrain.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

 

Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, including NICU.

 

Experience with reputable organisations.

 

Must be locally available.
