ESWL Technician – Shock Wave Lithotripsy, AMH Bahrain

American Mission Hospital is looking for an experienced ESWL (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy) Technician in A’ali / Manama, Bahrain.

 

This allied-health role supports kidney-stone treatment with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy at King Hamad American Mission Hospital in A’ali and Manama. AMH wants at least five years’ experience with reputable organisations, and candidates must already be locally available.

 

About the role

 

The technician prepares the ESWL machine and the patient, assists the clinician during treatment and keeps equipment and records in good order. The work needs care around imaging, positioning and patient comfort.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Prepare and operate ESWL equipment under clinical direction.

 

Position patients and support the treating doctor during sessions.

 

Check equipment function and report faults.

 

Keep treatment records accurate.

 

Follow radiation, infection-control and patient-safety rules.

 

Support clinic flow and urgent stone-treatment lists.

 

Who this role is suitable for

 

This role suits an ESWL or urology-theatre technician who already runs lithotripsy sessions and can start locally in Bahrain.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

 

Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.

 

Experience with reputable organisations.

 

Must be locally available.
