About the role
The technician runs cardiac tests under clinical direction, prepares patients and keeps equipment and records in good order. Exact modality mix depends on the department.
Key Responsibilities
Perform assigned cardiac diagnostic procedures.
Prepare patients and explain the test process.
Maintain equipment and report faults.
Record results accurately and hand them to the clinical team.
Follow infection-control and radiation or electrical-safety rules as applicable.
Support clinic flow and urgent requests.
