Al Tayer Group is looking for an experienced Draughtsman in United Arab Emirates.
The role involves preparing AutoCAD drawings based on the details supplied by Principals, Clients or Consultants during the project brief.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare all AutoCAD plans, sections, details, specifications and schedules on time according to the project brief. Incorporate client or consultant changes to secure approval.
Survey the site and produce as-built drawings, explain drawing details, and ensure drawings are accurate and complete so that projects can proceed on schedule.
Liaise with Architects, Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors so they understand the design documents and can receive additional supporting design information during project development.
Follow established computer protocols and formats and coordinate with the team to keep drawing layout, style and presentation consistent.
Check that all deliverables are accurate and meet specified requirements, including project variations and amendments.
Review sketches, drawings and specifications provided by the client or in-house architect and develop drawings from concept stage through to working drawings.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma in Architecture.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
3 to 5 years’ experience operating AutoCAD, preferably on construction or interior fit-out projects.
