Amazon is looking for an experienced Area Manager, Amazon Now in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
This operations-manager role leads last-mile operations for Amazon Now (about 15-minute grocery delivery) in Saudi Arabia. The manager runs a multi-channel last-mile network through delivery-service partners and third-party carriers, and can lead operations across multiple sites or dark stores with Area Manager teams.
About the role
The work is hands-on and cross-functional. The manager works with finance, DEX, business, HR, operations, product, projects and procurement. The role needs project management, stakeholder skill and comfort with last-mile technology and ambiguity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead last-mile operations for Amazon Now in the assigned Saudi network.
Manage delivery-service partners and third-party carriers.
Help drive innovation, test new ideas and spread good practice between local operations and country teams.
Hit customer, cost, safety and people metrics across sites.
Work a flexible roster, including weekends, nights and holidays.
Handle physical warehouse or station tasks, including moving loaded dollies up to 100 pounds when required.

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
1+ years of employee and performance-management experience.
